Arts of Cards and the Environment

I really enjoy developing oracle products and selling them. But the environmental issue also affected me.
Although I am not an expert in the field, I still pursue environmental protection sensibly and intelligently, to the best of my knowledge and belief.

Plastics are a big problem! That much is clear to me too.
Every day, so many products are manufactured around the world, put into packaging and shipped across the world. This obviously puts a lot of strain on our dear Earth.

But if you still want to express your joy with products and bring joy to other people, you have to find a middle ground somehow.

Producing and packaging a self-published product in a completely environmentally friendly way is a hurdle for two reasons:

1. Manufacturing products entirely from easily recyclable materials is much more expensive than using conventional materials. As a small company producing small quantities, it is unfortunately not yet economically viable.
But of course I am following the trend and am sure that this will be possible in the future.

2. Our "problem child", plastic, gives us the opportunity to produce durable, robust products. That's just the truth.
A small example: I first stuck paper stickers on my wooden Lenormand dice . I really wanted a natural product. But unfortunately the stickers didn't last very long. And especially in damp conditions, the pretty pictures quickly disappeared.
That's why I had to switch to vinyl stickers.

The sheets are currently made of 100% polyester. This is not ideal, but the sheets are sooo durable! If you treat them carefully and don't expose them to the sun or constant moisture, they will last a lifetime.

That’s why my philosophy is: environmental protection with heart and mind!
If I have to use plastics to give you a long-lasting product, then I use them. But wherever possible, I avoid them.

Whenever I can, I avoid unnecessary foil wrapping on my paper products. I use product packaging made of paper or recycled plastics.

All products in my shop are packaged and shipped by me.
Sometimes individual components of a product come from production in packaging that I don't need. I leave them in anyway to send them to you.

Because the waste they create is safe. But then every part produced should serve us at least as often as possible.

Another big topic

Misprints and faulty productions!

We are all only human, and where there is sawing, there are always shavings.
This can sometimes result in defective products that would normally end up in the trash.

To prevent this, I have set up a B-stock department in my shop. The products there may have small defects, but are still useful. Take a look. Maybe there is something there that you would like to add to your order at a reduced price.
